Quantum SOLID — Kim Group @ Ajou Physics
We explore Quantum SOLID — Quantum Spin-Orbital-Lattice Interactions by Design, aiming to design novel quantum materials through first-principles and many-body computational methods. In particular, we focus on systems in which precise control of spin–orbital–lattice interactions governs the macroscopic properties of materials. To achieve this goal, we develop and apply state-of-the-art many-body and electronic-structure theories and methods.
